SPRING ONION RICE


Ingredients

•1 cup Basmati Rice
•2 cups Water
•2 bunched spring Onions
•1tsp ghee
•Salt To taste.
•1 tbsp Oil
•Ingredients for powder:-
•1 Tbsp Urad Dal
•1 tbsp chana dal
•1 tbspCoriander Seeds
•4 no Red Chilies
•1 tsp Cumin Seeds
•1 tbsp dry coconut
•For Seasoning
•1 tsp Mustard Seeds .
•1 tsp Urad dal
•1/4 cup Raw Peanuts
Procedure

1.Wash and Cook the Rice and let it cool.
2.Grind powder with powder ingredients.Keep aside.
3.Chop the Onions including the green part.
4.Heat oil in a pan and put all the ingredients of the seasoning.
5.FRy them for 3-4 mins on a medium flame.
6.Add the Onions and stir.Add salt and ground powder cook for a few minutes.
7.Add rice to it. Add Ghee,Turn off the heat.
8.serve hot with riatha.
