VEGETABLE BIRYANI


Ingredients

•1 kilo Basmati Rice,
•1 big Potatoe,
•3 tomatos,
•1 carrot,
•1/2 coconut,
•1/4 Green Peas, 1 Bunch of Pudina,
•3 Lavanga,
•3 elaichi's,
•2 onions,
•100 gms oil,
•100 gms ghee,
•Ginger 1 piece,
•2 Biryani Leaves,
•20 gms Cashew nuts,
•1 bunch of Kothamir,
•Salt to taste.
Procedure

1.Wash the rice and dry it. Boil carrot, potato, green Peas.
2.Make half of the masala items into paste. Place a big vessel on a low flame.
3.Pour oil, ghee in the vessel.
4.Add the remainig masala items to the oil.
5.Add the onions, greenchillies, Masala paste, Biryani leaf and let it fry.
6.Pour water twice that of rice. When boiling, add rice to it.
7.Add salt, boiled carrot, potatoe green peas. Boil for some time.
8.Add Ghee fried cashew nuts.
9.Add kothamir to it. Now hot vegetable biryani is redy to eat.
